This is my first Blog...n let me confess before this i havnt written anything on my own...even "About Me" part of all my social networking accounts is plagiarised from other people...;).
So without grilling you anymore let me introduce you all to my blog "The K-Life"...let me clear that this blog is neither sponsored by eKta Kapoor as some of you might guess...nor i hav got any inspiration from her success...;)
So wats "The K-Life"
You might have read many blogs and articles on Life @ IIMs...Life @ IITs .. and Life @ many premier institutes where many people dream to study .. They entertain us and most importantly they inspires us , motivates us to study , tells us nothing is impossible n blah blah blah.
But wait do you think all inspiration, motivation and all that boring stuff comes from high targets .. achievements of others ,etc.. i mean we are not vouyers...;>
There are many silly experiences in our life that not only inspires to strive hard but also titillate our mind...."The K-Life" is compendium of all such experiences...Hope u all enjoy reading this
Intro To "K-World"

Name: Konkan Gyanpeeth’s College of Engg but the students prefer to call it the King George College of Engg to hide their obvious embarrassment of saying the real name.
Location: No other college in Maharashtra can claim to be between Matheran, Lonavala and Khandala (Karjat). The college might look like a hill top resort when viewed from a train but the summers are so hot that the greenery turns an ugly brown and the place feels like the Thar Desert.
How to get there: 1.5 km from the station is what the brochure says but ask the students and they tell you how grossly mistaken the college’s calculations were. Hire a rickshaw on a sharing basis to get to the top of the hill where the college is located. 4,5 or even 6 students often squeeze into one old rickety rick and the bone jarring ride to the top is the reason behind 50% of the dropouts.
Campus: Very scenic during the rains. The campus stretches as far as your eyes can reach - a good place to be for couples (which are very few) and the herbally inclined.
Crowd: Some geniuses, some bookworms, some ass lickers, some beautiful Kashmiri babes and loads and loads of lukkhas, and of course the mind blowing insects (I swear I have never seen so many even on the National Geographic Channel).
Canteen: The lifeline of the hostelites. People come to “cheeel out” here. Okay food, occasionally yucky. But we have to live with it as its only competition has closed down.
Hangouts: The canteen - for the food lovers and the so called hep crowd, the library - during submissions and the cyber cafe - where the connection is so slow that one can open a site, go out for half an hour and come back to check if the web page has half-opened.
Profs: Some good ones in the electronics, instrumentation and mechanical fields. Others are newcomers who look younger than most of the students.
Labs: The new ones are really good while the workshop and the mech labs are gr8. Some sprucing up required though.
Hostel: Smells of ciggies but quite comfy.
Fest: One very boring fest held in the summer. Imagine playing football under the scorching sun. The fest really serves as a reason for most people to get drunk.
